Trip to New Mexico-Day 13

The girls had another fun morning of playing with cousins.  Granny had a fun project set up that she had found on Pinterest, the foamy soap snakes.  The kids LOVED it!  Kaitlyn loved it too until she inhaled instead of blew on her water bottle.  She sucked down a lot of soap and it didn't take long for her to start throwing up.  Everywhere.  She took a bath while the other kids played with all the bubbles.

In the afternoon, Kinsey and I met up with my parents and headed to Durango.  I had wanted to take Kinsey to Honeyville, but we ran out of time the last time we were up there.  Kinsey LOVES honey and is interested in anything about nature so this was a fun place for her.

After Honeyville, we headed to Bar-D, a cowboy chuck wagon and dinner/show.  We went to Bar-D nearly every summer (I think?  Maybe it wasn't that often) when I was a kid and I have only good memories of our times there.  I didn't think Kaitlyn was old enough to sit still and enjoy the show, and she certainly would not have eaten the food, so we left her home with Granny and Papa.  I think she loved her alone time with them and we enjoyed spending time with just Kinsey.
