Miss Kaitlyn outside of "her school"

Big girl
Kaitlyn recently started speech therapy with our school district. She goes to a local elementary school once a week for half an hour. That half an hour took me about 6 meetings and almost a year to secure. Insane. She is loving it though. She feels so big going to "her school" and meeting with "her teacher." It's pretty fun to see how excited she gets. She also does an hour of occupational therapy and an hour of audio verbal therapy (speech therapy that is specific to kids with hearing loss). We are working on adding feeding therapy. These additional therapies are all private, there is no way the school district would approve her for them. This girl continues to be a bit high maintenance but she is totally worth it! Someday her therapy schedule will slow down, but until then, I continue to be grateful for all the help we've been able to access.
