Pull-Ups

One day I ran out of diapers. Luckily, I had some pull-ups leftover from Kinsey (the most easily potty trained child in the world) that I could use while I waited for Amazon to ship me another giant box. For some reason, Kaitlyn was inspired by the pull-ups and I caught her in the bathroom (twice) pulling off her pants and pull-up and trying to climb on the toilet. She was never "successful" and hasn't attempted it since. Someday, when I'm brave and attempt potty training with her, I think I'll just stick her in pull-ups. Maybe she'll potty train herself? One can hope...

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
