Feeding Therapy

Kaitlyn's feeding therapist comes once a week. The girls both love her. She always has fun activities planned, in addition to fun food that Kinsey loves to eat and Kaitlyn hates to eat. We are working hard to get Kaitlyn to simple touch more foods and textures. She hates getting her hands messy, and therefore wont even touch a lot of foods. Her current foods include:

Bananas (only cut up, and she'll only eat them with a fork)
Apples (sometimes)
Pears (sometimes)
Sweet potato fries (sometimes
Crackers
Peanut butter sandwich (no jelly)
Peanut butter eaten with a spoon (she LOVES LOVES LOVES peanut butter)
Cashews, peanuts, macadamia nuts
Granola bars
French fries
Popsicles (a few licks)
Chocolate and a handful of other types of candy
Chips
Ice cream!!!
Cookies
Bacon
Pancakes
Cake
Rolls
Oatmeal (sometimes)
Dry cereal
Yogurt

And probably a few others. We struggle to get fruits and veggies in her body, as well as meat. She eats pretty much the same foods (bananas, peanut butter, yogurt) every day with a some others thrown in to mix it up. But that list is a lot longer than it was a year ago!

Some feeding therapy fun...

"Gingerbread" Houses

Shaving cream and bears. Kaitlyn was supposed to hide the bears in the shaving cream, decorate them, etc. Instead, she insisted on a wipe and proceeded to clean them. Of course.
