Robots

I just had this conversation with Kins...

"Mom, I had a dream about a robots! I was with your mom and we left Kaitlyn and then the robots came in! And your mom is scared of robots! And she didn't want to go to sleep because it went behind Kaitlyn's crib. And the dream fairy brought that dream to me! And she carries them in her bag and smarkles them in the air and give a dream to Kaitlyn and to me and to you and to daddy! But it was just a dream. But I could hear it! And I was kind of scared to get up because I was afraid that robots could be in our house and I am scared of robots but did you know that robots aren't scary? And mom, but I don't know why I am always so scared of robots. Mom, is a robot a big word? It will take forever to go to breakfast."

I didn't even know she knew what a robot was!

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.

Kinsey and I were taking a walk around the neighborhood when she spotted a dog, or a "woof woof" as she calls it. We went over to say hi and the dog touched her hand with his nose. Kinsey looked at her hand then said "eww" and wiped her hand on her shorts.
