Movie

Has anyone seen "The Princess and the Frog?" Would it scare Kinsey? We want to take her to it but I've heard it's a little creepy. She's seen a few Disney movies (which always have some sort of scary part) and has been fine. I'm just worried a big, loud, dark, movie theater might make it worse. Any thoughts? Or any other suggestions for a movie that a 3 year old would like?

april said...: We took Kaity to it, it was super cute, but there were a few scary voodoo scenes with some creepy evil spirits, it didn't seem to bother her, like I thought it might. But it wasn't her first movie either, so I'm not sure. She likes Scooby-Doo, which usually has scary stuff in it, but I tell her it is just pretend like Halloween, and that seems to make it ok.; December 21, 2009 at 4:28 PM

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
