Halloween Fun

We let Kinsey be totally in charge of designing and carving her pumpkin and she loved it!  It's not the most beautiful carving, but that's not the important part (right?).

The original costume plan was for Kinsey to be Rapunzel and Kaitlyn to be Cinderella.  But Kinsey decided that Rapunzel was "too babyish" and Kaitlyn wouldn't leave the itchy Cinderella costume on. So she became a ballerina and was completely happy.  Kinsey wanted to be a pioneer, which is a nice idea, but we really didn't have a costume.  We had a bonnet and an ugly pink dress and no one would have known what she was supposed to be.  We found this Renaissance Princess dress at Target (apparently a Renaissance Princess costume is not babyish) and she was happy too.  They both looked so cute.

Trick-or-treating with friends.
