The eggs looked pinker in real life, but you couldn't really tell with the pancakes. Whole wheat pancakes just don't turn pink. Kinsey said, "Remember when Aunt Jen made me green eggs (it was St. Patrick's Day) and I didn't want to eat them? Now I know that they are just regular eggs with color and they are okay to eat."

Valentine's Day
We love any excuse to celebrate, so Valentine's Day was full of fun! The girls woke up to bubbles, their own box of chocolates, and balloons. I made pink heart shaped pancakes and pink eggs. For dinner we had our traditional homemade pizza and rootbeer dinner, and we added in a heart shaped cookie as well. Jason brought the girls jelly beans and stickers and me flowers and cinnamon bears. Kinsey said it was her "best Valentine's ever" which makes it all worth it. I love my little family!
