I was impressed with the creativity of whoever made this tire swing...
Once I got there I decided NOT to buy a pumpkin because they were crazy expensive (which was what I thought we'd be avoiding by going directly to the source but whatever). Kinsey really wanted to get one though so we finally settled on a nice small one that was $4 (as compared to the big ones that were $15 (!)). It ended up being perfect (and super easy to carve) for Kinsey to carry around and enjoy.
Poor Kaitlyn probably wishes Kinsey would love her just a little bit less...
I posed my girls at the free scarecrow/wagon photo-opt area just for my mom (she likes scarecrows). This is the best I got.
I'm completely tickled that my baby has curly hair...
We then went on the weirdest hayride of my life. I can't even explain it. It looked a little like the following picture, along with a few life size figurines of Big Bird and Squanto thrown in for effect. Ah, North Carolina...
But it was fun.
Then Kinsey took the babes on their own personal ride, sans Big Bird and creepy ladies.
Fun times.

I SO love this post. Thanks for the picture in front of the scarecrows. Kaitlyn's hair - OMG! It is so pretty. But where did it come from? I love the girls' matching 'cat' shirts. I saw those at Target just a few days ago. Pumpkins at Sutherland Farms are much cheaper - you should move back to Farmington. :>)
