- Scooting EVERYWHERE. This little girl is busy! And into EVERYTHING! I'm amazed at how much she can get into just by scooting. She opens all our cupboards, rips Kinsey's books, eats anything left of the floor, and dumps out puzzles. Everyday. Usually before 8 am. And you know what? I LOVE it!
- Happy, happy, happy. I remember being worried that all the junk she had to go through when she was born would have some sort of lasting effect of her happiness. Nope. Not at all. She is happy, pretty undramatic (when compared to Kinsey), and friendly. She will let pretty much anyone hold her and loves to be in the middle of the action.
- She signs a bit. She just started signing "more" the other day. She can also do milk. She waves 'hi' and 'bye-bye' and will nod and shake her head (usually appropriately). She's pretty much awesome.
- She folds her arms for prayers and says, "Thank you" afterwords. Cute.
- She can pull herself up to her knees and has started diving forward onto her tummy from sitting and contemplating the idea of crawling. But for now she seems happy to stick with scooting. She's fast (video coming soon).
- Food--she's doing great. She loves small, crunchy things the most, like cheerios (or any kind of cereal) and bread-type things (she LOVES waffles). She doesn't like to pick up anything slimy (like bananas) but will eat just about anything that is pureed.
- Jabberbox! She can say: Hi, Bye-bye, Mama, Daddy (Diddy), Uh-oh, Peek-a-boo (kind of), Kinsey, Thank you, and a few others I can't think of right now. She will often repeat a word we say and she jabbers and jabbers in "Kaitlyn" all. the. time.
