4-got?

A while ago we noticed that Kinsey was saying "to-got" instead of "forgot." We thought that she was simply mixing up some common prefixes as she is prone to do. However, we've now noticed that she is saying "three-got" like, "I three-got to pick up my toys." I think it is more of an issue of throwing her age into the mix and she is really meaning 3-got and before, when she was two, 2-got. Funny girl.

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
