Two Wheeler

Kinsey has long outgrown her first bike so Jason did some research and found a great new bike for her. He picked out a bike, went to the store and tested it out, and then, being the savvy shopper that he is, found the same bike on craigslist and paid $60 instead of $240. Craigslist rocks.

Kinsey was REALLY excited to learn how to ride without training wheels. Jason and I kept telling her that learning to ride a bike takes time and that she probably wouldn't learn the first time. She surprised us both by picking it up in less than an hour. She is still a little wobbly and needs help getting started but she is doing really well.

Kaitlyn inherited Kinsey's old bike and she is over the moon about it. So grateful for a little sister that LOVES hand me downs!

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
