Kinsey's kindergarten class went on a very cool field trip to the UPS shipping facility at the RDU airport last week. They got to go into the airplanes and see how the boxes are loaded in and they also got to climb into the airport firetruck (which happened to be Kinsey's favorite part). A nice airplane mechanic also gave them a lesson about how airplanes fly that went WAY over their heads (pun intended). I think it was on par with the physics I learned in high school. In any case, it was fun and the kids had a great time. Jason and I learned a lot too!

Where all the boxes are loaded. Sort of. They load the boxes into big semi-circular containers and then roll those into the airplane.
Kinsey's cute class. We LOVE her class and friends.
In the firetruck. They loved to turn on the sirens and scare everyone.
