Easter Fair

A local church puts together FREE Easter Carnival every year. We missed it last year for some reason, but we made sure to do it this time. There are pony rides, face painting, crafts, and lots of bounce houses--plus food. All free. We went with some friends and had so much fun! The food wasn't exactly healthy (hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn, cotton candy, soda) but the girls were sure enjoyed it.

Kinsey on the pony. She loved it, but kept a death grip on the saddle the whole time.

Kaitlyn loved it too!

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
