Easter Baskets

The Easter Bunny made his way to our house. Kinsey is convinced he is real despite me telling her that he is just pretend, and something we do for fun (I told her this a couple of years ago. I said the same thing about Santa. She decided not to believe me, or didn't understand, or forgot. In any case, we have given in to BOTH Santa and the Easter Bunny. I no longer tell her they are pretend.)

We decided to leave the Easter Bunny a carrot, like cookies for Santa, and Kinsey loved that. I had a HUGE carrot that I got from our produce group. I hope the Easter Bunny was hungry!

I had to wake the girls up early to get their baskets on Sunday because we have church at 9. Do you see that hair on Kinsey that I have to comb through every morning??

I happened to be at Wal-Mart a few weeks before Easter and came across a whole aisle of clearanced toys. I picked up a couple of cheap toys (like $.25 cheap) and bought a bit of candy. I think I paid a total of $6 for each girls basket.

They loved them!

We have some friends who are Jewish. She's tried to talk away Santa too to her little kids, but they ask her to pretend he is real, and they expect Christmas gifts. It's kind of in the magic of childhood, I guess!
