Beach House-Day 6

On Thursday, the guys went deep sea fishing. Jason has wanted to do this forever, so I'm glad he finally got a chance. I am also glad that they did not bring any fish home!

The rest of us womenfolk took all the kids to "Club Hatteras," a pool/tennis court/playgroud area that was included as part of our rental. It was fun, but the water was cold and it was cloudy so we didn't stay too long.

We also took family pictures on the beach that night. Somehow, I had the days mixed up and our photographer had shown up on Wednesday to do the pictures. There was NO way we could have gotten ready on Wednesday, so luckily, we were able to switch to Thursday. We are still waiting to get them back, I can't wait to see them. It was quite the adventure trying to keep 9 kids clean and dry while at the beach!

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
