Jason is pretty good at remembering special dates and events. The only thing he has ever forgotten is our anniversary, once, and I forgot it too so that kind of cancels itself out. His gifts, however, can sometimes be...interesting. My personal favorite is the surge protector but I also have a fond place in my heart for the printer cartridges. :) He always puts a lot of thought into the gifts though, even if they are a little funny. BUT this past Christmas he did great. Along with some very much desired cutting boards, I also was given tickets to see Wicked when it came to the DPAC this spring. We finally got to go yesterday and it was amazing. Thanks for my Christmas present, Jason! Good job!

And I'm glad that it was amazing... we're pretty big Wicked fans around here... pretty sure Ivy learned "Popular" and "Defying Gravity" along with her primary songs for the first year of life. :) I wanted to go so badly when it came to SLC, but 6 hours on the phone (literally) still couldn't land us tickets that weren't on a Sunday. :( But Steve says he'll take me to see it someday in a big city, and I'm okay with that. :) Anyways, I'm so glad you got to enjoy. Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
