A picture...

of baby #2! That's right. We are expecting another little one. I am due on August 14 and am about 15 weeks along.

We are all so excited to have a new baby in the house! Kinsey kind of gets it, she talks about the baby in mommy's tummy and she insists that it is a "little sister." We'll see about that...I have an ultrasound scheduled in March to find out.

For me, being pregnant also means being sick all day long for the first 2-3 months.Thankfully, we are almost past that and I am feeling a lot better. Christmas break was interesting...I pretty much lived on the couch while Jason became Mr. Mom and took over everything. I was so grateful! Luckily, he was out of school for a month. My wonderful mom flew over to help for a couple of weeks after Jason went back to school (Thanks Mom!). Now we are functioning almost like normal.

Being sick meant that everything that I put off to do when I finished school is now on hold (again) until I feel better. Things like potty training and moving Kinsey to a toddler bed. Hopefully they will happen in a few weeks...

Well, that is our big news! We are excited and can't help but hope that this baby is as good as Kinsey was (she still is good but she was a really good baby).

And just because she is cute...

The future big sister who insisted she needed wings on to go to the park :)

I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
