We had a big snowstorm (for here) with about 6 inches of snow. It literally shut the whole area down for a few days. The snow came FAST and many people ended up completely stuck on the roads and had to abandon their cars and walk home. It was crazy! Thankfully we were all home and safe and stocked up on food and painting supplies :) Jason worked from home for a few days and we just enjoyed the snow and our warm house.
We have such a fun neighborhood for sledding. We live at the top of a hill so all we have to do is walk outside and the fun comes to us!
We built a decent snowman!
The snow really was beautiful. We were sad that it melted a few days later.
The girls had almost no toys unpacked in February. They have gotten very creative in their playing. I kind of love it! But not enough to throw all the toys out... Kaitlyn especially likes playing with kitchen utensils. I think these spoons/fork had just been tucked into their cutting board bed.
We've made good progress on the house!
Removing the laminate floors
The girls helping to paint their room. It's a pretty teal color, though that is hard to tell from the picture. They love it and we do too!
The girls love to sneak my camera and take pictures of each other. Here is a picture of Kaitlyn where you can see her little gappy smile :)
My niece Avery sent us "Flat Avery" and the girls think she is so fun.
She joined us on a trip to the park the other day.
Poor flat Avery had a bit of a mishap with the swings and lost an eye and got quite dirty. We cleaned her up as best we could but we still need to replace her eye.
Our master bedroom has 16 foot high ceilings. We scraped the ceilings and then needed to paint them and couldn't do it with jsut a ladder. Jason rented scaffolding from Home Depot and we were able to get the ceiling and walls painted. The girls enjoyed having a jungle gym in the house.
Kisney made this girl as a project for school. She did the entire thing herself and I was pretty impressed!

I love the picture of Hudson and the girls with the snowman. That was such a fun day! And, the family picture in front of your new home with all the snow is just perfect!
What a busy February! We need to come over again to see all the progress you have made so far. :)
