Bucket List Halloween Fun

#29 Go to a pumpkin patch.  This one almost didn't happen.  We tried pretty hard to get to a pumpkin patch with a hayride, cornmaze, games, etc. but it just never worked with our schedule.  The girls were bummed but we were still able to go to a simple pumpkin patch up the road from us.

The best picture I got of the two of them.  Why can't they both smile nicely at the same time???

This is all we bought.  We already had pumpkins that we got for going to an open house, for whatever reason.  The girls each got a gourd and we bought this HUGE pie pumpkin.  Jason wants to make a pie for Thanksgiving totally from scratch. We are going to have so much leftover pumpkin...

#13 Carve pumpkins.  This was a fun night but my pictures are pretty lacking.  I am so sad I didn't take a picture of Kinsey's finished and lit up!  You can see the outline below.  It ended up looking like this weird wolf person.  It was so funny.

#38 Go trick-or-treating.  Again, not a very good picture!  They look so serious.  We did have a good time though!  Kaitlyn decided to be Spiderman again.  I convinced her to wear a shirt under the costume and solved the itchy problem.
Both the girls were coughing and we already had a lot of candy from the trunk-or-treat so we were just going to do a few houses.  We stopped at a friends house to trick-or-treat and they invited us to go out with them.  We ended up walking around for over 2 hours and now we really have too much candy!

We also spent an evening at Marble's, a children's museum.
The girls got their faces painted.  Pretty cool!

We had such a fun October!
