Christmas. Finally.

I know Christmas happened awhile ago, but here are some pictures anyway.  My parents and brother were in town for Christmas this year so that made everything extra fun.  Poor Kaitlyn woke up on Christmas Eve day soooo sick.  I ended up taking her to her pediatricians in order to avoid an ER visit on Christmas day.  Turns out she had a HUGE ear infection (on top of other things) which I didn't even think of.  She has tubes and I had it in my brain that she couldn't get an ear infection (which is stupid because the ENT told me she still could when he put the tubes in).  But she's done so well since the tubes that it just wasn't on my radar.  Unfortunately for us the hearing aid causes extra problems when an ear is icky because it covers it up and creates a perfect environment for infections.  Grrrr...  We got some super duper antibiotics (neither amoxicillin nor augmentin do a thing for Kaitlyn anymore) and within 10 days (yes 10 days!) she was finally back to normal.

Anyway, Christmas was great.  Kaitlyn did manage to have lots of fun and Kinsey was at such a fun age (I say that every year) and we had a wonderful day.

Waiting to go downstairs!

The only thing Kinsey asked for was a make-up kit and a purple dress that she had seen at Costco.  She is such a sweet girl, she told me, "I think 2 presents are plenty for Santa to bring."  I went (I mean Santa went) to Toy-R-Us for the make-up kit.  When I asked someone where I could find it, the worker said, "The make-up kits are over there on the tween isle."  NOOOO!  I'm not ready to be shopping on the tween isle!

Kaitlyn wanted pink shoes and paint.  I get the paint (she LOVES to paint) but I'm not sure where the pink shoes came from.  She happens to have about 4 pairs of pink shoes that fit right now, but whatever.  Santa brought her pink shoes!
We had such a good day and were given so many kind gifts.  My personal favorite is the Kindle Fire Jason got for me (I l love it, love it, love it) and I'm pretty sure Jason's favorite was the smoker we got from my parents :)
