The Post Where I Show You My Kids Halloween Costumes

Kinsey and Kaitlyn were supposed to be fairy's this year. Kinsey and I picked out and ordered the costumes in August. We were totally set. But then it just didn't come together. Finally, I dumped out all our dress up clothes and tried to find something else. I rediscovered some super cute dresses that my mom had bought in Mexico. Kinsey loved them, so she and Kaitlyn went as "Spanish Dancers." Totally easy, totally free (except for the costumes I bought that they didn't end up wearing...)

At the church party. I was in charge of the party which means I only took this one picture. But the girls had fun.

We had a Halloween dinner with some friends. Totally fun.

Then we went trick-or-treating in rain. Totally fun too. This is Kinsey's first year to really go trick-or-treating. She thought there was only trunk-or-treating. She was so excited to go to the houses because, "There are more houses than cars! Which means I will get even MORE candy!!!"

There is a "healthy" grocery store here that lets you trade in your candy for prizes and healthy treats. I think we'll be paying it a visit soon... Our "stash" is out of control!

I want to work at the healthy grocery store, so that I can eat all of the chocolate that kiddos trade in. What a great idea... those employees are probably jonesing for real refined sugar! :-)
