My Little Daredevil

This girl is seriously nuts. She just started taking her first few steps (Yay! Video soon!) but has been climbing for the past few weeks. She has no fear and never learns that if she got hurt once, she will probably get hurt again. As soon as she falls off of something, she tries to climb right back up. She currently has two big bruises on her head and one very fat lip. The fat lip came yesterday while I was at the gym. I had just dropped her off in the kids room and before I could even get started, they told me to go back to check on her. She was screaming, the girl working in the kids room was almost in tears, and Kaitlyn's mouth was full of blood. It took a minute to decide that her teeth were fine and that it was only her lip that was cut. As soon as I set her down, she crawled right over to the chair that she had just fallen off of.

Crazy, crazy kid. All the time, energy, money, doctors, research, and prayers to get her where she is today...and she'll probably go sky diving just as soon as she gets the chance.

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
