Jason and I have a "system." After dinner, one of us does the dishes and the other gets the girls ready for bed and reads to them. We switch off every night. It works well for us, but has taken awhile to get really fine-tuned. For example, I like to get the dishes done right away so I can relax after the girls are in bed. Jason often likes to wait, and relax after dinner for awhile, then do the dishes. It used to drive me nuts, but I've mellowed lately :)
Anyways, the other night he said he was going to wait to do the dishes. Most of the food was already put away and I asked him to at least cover the cornbread we had eaten that night. This is what I found when I went in the kitchen later...

At least he sort of listened right?

That seems like a perfectly reasonable solution to me...
I laughed so hard when I saw that picture! that is awesome!
This is all too familiar to me :) Thanks for the laugh though, glad to know its not just my husband!
It works!??? Too funny.
Wow this really made me laugh because thats totally something I would do. Terica and I have an ongoing battle going on about whether or not it is acceptable to leave leftovers in the pan and put them in the fridge, rather than putting them in a tupperware container.
