Ice Skating

My friend and I took our girls ice skating last weekend. It was slightly crazy and I will probably wait at least another year until I am brave enough to attempt it again. The rink was insanely crowded and the combination of a parent who does not skate very well and a 4 year old who has never skated is tricky. It was fun though and Kinsey looked super cute in her little ice skates :) I was thinking of signing Kinsey up for lessons but I think I'll wait awhile. I asked her if she wanted to go again and she said, "Yes, but not until I'm better at ice skating."

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
