Aquarium

We joined up with some friends and headed down to the coast. Our first stop was the aquarium. The girls were in heaven!

Kaitlyn is pulling up everywhere, and standing for a long time. I took LOTS of pictures of her doing so. It just makes me happy :)

We went to watch a scuba diving show in the big tank. Kaitlyn apparently didn't like our seats in the back. She scooted herself right to the front, pushed her way through two much bigger kids, and enjoyed the show.

Love this one!

I once heard that you shouldn't have your kids say 'cheese' when you take pictures because that will give you, well, a cheesy picture. Instead you are supposed to have them say 'monkey' because every part of that word produces a happy looking face. Or something like that. Anyway, the girls were playing on this frog and I told them to say "Frog!" This is the type of face you get when you say frog...

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
