Kinsey Anne

Hopefully I can write this story so that you can sort of follow it...

I was downstairs while Kinsey was taking her afternoon nap and then I heard her crying hysterically. This isn't common, when she wakes up she usually just talks or sings to herself until we go and get her. I went upstairs to find that her leg was stuck between the bars on her crib. I pulled her out and said, "What happened?" Tearfully she told me, "I want to eat!" ??? So was she crying because she was stuck or because she wanted to eat? I asked her a few minutes later why she had cried and she looked at me and patiently explained, "Sometimes Kinsey cries." I started laughing and so she said, "Sometimes I sleep on my blankets." I was laughing and she said, "Why silly?" I think meaning, "What's so funny about that?"

I will never understand two years olds. I think that is ok. Right now Kinsey is pretending to cook a football in her play oven while singing a song that goes something like, "See you Monday! See you Monday!"

That last paragraph is absolutely hilarious. I mean honestly, that's pure entertainment right there.

I can totally imagine her looking at you with that cocked head, concerned eye-brow look of hers and saying, "Sometimes Kinsey cries".

And she knows what happens on Mondays, huh?

Our blog would be so much better if we had kiddos...
