Winner...kind of

Tonight we went to a Christmas Party at Jason's work. They had a drawing for door prizes; included were tickets to a UNC basketball game, movie passes, restaurant gift certificates, and a flat screen tv. I never win anything, I cannot recall my name ever being drawn for anything. Until tonight. What did I win? Gourmet coffee from A Southern Season. Go figure.

I just found out that my bags of coffee are worth more than $20. Maybe I can take them back to the store for a credit...

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
