Saturday

We spent Saturday in Apex and Raleigh. We wanted to go to the temple and I wanted to get Kinsey's haircut at a place in Apex.

This was Kinsey's 4th haircut. She had fun at this little hair salon just for kids; she got animal crackers, a sucker, a prize and was able to watch a movie while they did her hair. So that was fun but I paid $16 for haircut that isn't really noticeable. I think I might attempt to do it on my own next time. Maybe. We'll see.

Lunch at Anna's Pizzaria, home of the smallest (but tasty) portions ever

We also went to a gigantic mall in Raleigh that we had a gift card for. It was huge and packed with tons of people(Santa came last weekend). I think I will do all my Christmas shopping online this year and avoid the masses.

Fun trip! I really like the idea of shopping online, but I don't know if we will. We can already feel the traffic influx around shopping centers here. I wouldn't mind if we weren't hauling two kids around, but since we have them, it certainly makes heavy store traffic more difficult.

Hey! Glad to see you have a blog too! Looks like you guys are finding lots of great fun things to do in NC! That kid hair cutting place looks fun, but yeah, expensive!

Lisa's Dad allways cut our kids hair since he was a barber at one time. All it took was a look at the price of hair cuts and Lisa started cutting my hair as well as all the kids. (She does still pay to have her hair done as she will not let me get near hers.)
