We got there Monday night--Kinsey's favorite thing was the luggage cart, we let her ride on it once and she was hooked. She kept asking for another "ride."
At the Martin Luther King Jr. Monument. This was an unplanned part of the trip. We went to the Underground shopping center in Atlanta and saw it all (or at least all we wanted to see) in about 5 min. This was (sort of) close by so we went there instead. It was neat.
At Stone Mountain Park. You can kind of see the people carving in the rocks. Enlarge the picture to see it better. Kind of the same idea as Mt. Rushmore but not as big and not just giant faces. On the left side of the picture you can see the tram that we rode to the top.
View from the top. Ever since we moved here we have felt kind of closed in by trees. They tower over everything and make it hard to see anything past them. It was nice to be up high and see the view.
Kinsey swimming the next day. She is trying to splash Jason.
She is happy as can be when she is in the water.
Trying to figure out how to put on her sunglasses without poking herself in the eye. She's almost got it.
The fountain outside our hotel was a big hit. She was so calm sitting by it. I need to get one for my house.
It was a good trip, despite the crazy heat. Thanks for the fun day Dan and Michelle! It was great to see you guys again.
