Backyard

A few pictures from our "backyard." We ended up renting a condo on a golf course. We can't go golfing because it is a private country club (well, we aren't supposed to go golfing) but we do have a nice view and tons of room for Kinsey to run around when no one is out there. The other day it rained so we had the whole place to ourselves. I guess no one goes golfing or takes their one year old out to splash in the puddles on the golf course when it rains. Anyways, Kinsey loved it.

It is beautiful and green here. We are actually in the middle on a severe drought, you can see some brown spots on the grass, but it is still way greener then New Mexico or Utah.

In the picture above, Kinsey is wondering where the "bees" are. What she calls a bee is actually a firefly. They come out at night and we sometimes sit on our back porch and watch with. Kinsey loves them and every time we go outside she asks for them.

I'm envious of your back yard! When I was in NJ I could not believe the amount of "green" back there. The west just does not have that kind of color. What I loved best was the fall with all those trees. I also loved the fireflies.

How pretty! Kinsey is so darling! She is getting so big! What a nice place for her to run around when people aren't golfing.
