Happy Birthday Uncle Travis!

Today is Travis' birthday. Since we couldn't be there to celebrate with him, we thought we would send some birthday wishes through our blog. We hope you had a great day Travis!

Today is also Veteran's Day and we wanted to express our gratitude to any veteran's who might be reading this for all they have done for our country. Mostly, I want to tell my Dad how grateful I am for all the sacrifices he has made so we can all live in this wonderful, free country!

BTW-I was about 4 months pregnant when this picture was taken, just in case you were wondering about my belly :).

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
