The girls playing and waiting at UNC on the day Kaitlyn got her hearing aid
We have such a great library just up the road from us. Once a month they bring in therapy dogs for kids to read to. Research suggests that children can relax when they are reading to a dog and improve their reading skills and become more comfortable reading aloud. I think it's such a neat program and Kinsey really loves it. Before we left one time Kinsey was unsure about one book she had selected because she didn't know all the words. She thought about it for a minute and then said, "But dogs can't read! So it wont matter if I mess up on a word!" Here she is reading "Bear Hugs" to Sawyer.
Kinsey is officially a Daisy in Girl Scouts and really loves it. She can't wait to sell cookies!
We went on a nature walk with friends one day. It was hotter than expected and my single stroller once again turned into a double stroller :)
We had a pot luck at Pullen Park with some fun friends from church. The girls loved the carousel and Kinsey loved climbing the rope structure she refers to as the Eiffel Tower.
And good old fashioned Play-Doh! Play-Doh and googly eyes can keep Kaitlyn happy for quite awhile!
We're so happy to live in such a fun place with such fun friends! And so grateful that Kinsey's school schedule allows us so much time to play!

I love the googly eyes idea in the play doh! We just bought Gigi some play doh for Christmas, and I think we'll get more mileage on it if we have something fun like that!
