Coolest Preschool Field Trip EVER

Way back at the beginning of March, Kinsey's preschool class went of a field trip.  The dad of one of the little girls in her class is a nurse for Duke life flight, and he arranged for us to come out to the airport they are stationed at to take a look inside.  Jason happened to have a day off, so we all went.  I think I was just as excited as Kinsey!  Not only did we see a helicopter, we also got to see a HUGE ambulance (the nurses said it was basically an ICU on wheels and was better equipped than most small hospitals) and we got to watch some planes take off and land.  After we were done at the airport, we took an impromptu side trip to the local fire station and had a tour.  We had such a fun day.  The kids are STILL talking about it!

The ambulance, the front was about the same size as the front of a semi-truck

I was so impressed with all the "community helpers" (as they were called in preschool) that we met.  I'm grateful for the jobs they do each day to keep us safe!
