Surprise Party

Jason's birthday was about a week and half ago so I am a little late posting this but here goes...

I (with the help of some friends) threw Jason a surprise birthday party. It turned out really good and he had no idea. The funny thing is that a few days before the party, he mentioned that he never wanted a surprise party. He didn't suspect anything, he was just telling me to tell me. He had also told me that he didn't want to go out to eat on his birthday. So what did I do? I took him out to eat and threw him a surprise party. Isn't that what birthdays are for? Not getting what you want? In my defense I was really busy with school starting and Kinsey's birthday in just a few days that I didn't have time to cook-I did make a cake. AND the party was already planned.

Anyways, my friend picked Kinsey up while Jason was at work and then Jason and I went to dinner alone. He thought that was the big surprise I had been working on. While we were gone some of our friends came back to our house and got everything ready. Jason and I came home and SURPRISE! There were people, balloons and candles in our house. It was so fun and I'm glad I did it despite Jason's wishes!

The cake was chocolate with peanut butter frosting and Reese's on top.

Happy Birthday Jason! I think that sounds like a lot of fun. Good job Kim. I just wish I could have helped organize the surprise :) I'm glad you were able to have an enjoyable evening for your birthday.

She's two! No! Hey thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I'll have to add you guys to the roster. I really enjoyed Kinsey's sock monkey and I'm trying to make one for Haven right now, so the pictures were helpful!
