Still here

We finally found a place to live (after many long days of looking and looking) which is great. The not so great is that we can't move in until June 8. Luckily, my wonderful brother is letting us stay with him so we don't have to sleep on the side of the road. Actually, we had two different people in our new ward offered us a place to stay if we didn't have anywhere to go, so we would have been fine even if Troy wasn't here (but we are sure glad he is). We had to put all of our stuff in storage (you'd think we would be able to get away from storage units after living on site for 2.5 years!) and paid $105 for a unit that we charged $50 for in Logan! We are getting adjusted to the higher prices, higher humidity and higher trees that we are finding here in NC. We really love it so far though. I am just glad that it hasn't snowed since we got here (it snowed just a few days before we left Logan). People here are so nice and helpful, really laid back. Jason loves his classes and actually looks forward to being in class every single day. I have lots of pictures to post, but I have to figure out how to load them onto our laptop first. We miss you all!

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
