Same head, Different Bump

It happened again. This time she was with us and she tripped over her own feet and landed head first on the sidewalk. She is quite a clumsy girl. When I was at her 18-month appointment, I mentioned this to the doctor. I asked if it was normal at this age. While I was asking this, Kinsey was running happily around the room. Before the doctor could answer, Kinsey tripped over a chair and flew into the wall. He assured me it was normal. She tripped over the chair another time before we left the appointment. Hopefully we have good insurance as she gets older!

Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
