President Hinckley

We were so sad to hear that President Hinckley had passed away. He was such an amazing man and we are so grateful that we were able to know him as our prophet. We will miss his wisdom, kindness and sense of humor. We were watching the news shortly after his death and they were interviewing Senator Hatch. He said something to the sort of, "He was a man who understood the world, but was not of the world. He was above the world." He truly was and we hope that we can continue to follow the wonderful example that he has left for us.

Below is link to a video that we found on youtube. Interestingly, it was posted a few days before his death. I thought it was very well done and is a great tribute to a great man. The last few pictures are from Sister Hinckley's funeral. They break my heart, but I find so much comfort in knowing that they are together again once more.

Well Howdy Hills. It's so nice to have found you again. I have thought about you often this year as we have been living in Morenci, AZ where we are surrounded by Haul Trucks daily and are only minutes away from the New Mexico border. I seem to remember a conversation once about Jason growing up in the most dangerous town in the U.S. Something about people getting hurt by huge trucks. Josh and I just can't remember exactly where. We're dying to know if it was one of the town we are so familiar with now. Please email. jksantfam@gmail.com
