Another word

I realized that I forgot to put one of Kinsey's most important words on my previous list...Yum! She says it all the time, all through meals, when she chews on a toy and when she finds something on the floor to stick in her mouth. Most recently, she started dunking her head in her bath water and taking a sip then sitting back up and saying "yum, yum, yum."

Another note...October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I was asked in school to help spread the word about a website that is giving away free mammograms to low-income women who can not afford one on their own. All you have to do is copy and paste the link below and follow the instructions on the website. It is very simple, takes about 5 seconds and you do not have to give out any information or anything. Kinsey noticed some guys moving furniture outside of our apartment. Some had taken their shirts off and she asked me why. I told her that they were probably hot and explained that sometimes guys take their shirts off outside but that girls shouldn't and figured that would be the end of the conversation. But a little while later she saw the guys outside again and said, "Them boys took off their shirts. They're HOT!"

(She's two, so she argues everything of course)

I was telling Jason how well Kinsey was doing learning her colors. I mentioned that she knows the color white. Jason said, "She knows white?" Kinsey, very confidently, broke into the conversation and said "I know white." We just looked at each other. It was her first "real" sentence that she thought up all on her own. She's growing up too fast.
